They said to you that Jesus is God, while Jesus said that he was a man:

Qura'n said: (Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before Him. His mother was a woman of Truth. They had both to eat their daily food. see How Allah doth make His Signs Clear to them; yet see In what ways They are deluded away from the truth)! Qura'n 5: 75
Isn't it evidence that they are deceiving you? Why you don't believe Jesus, but believe those who want to deceive you?
Zealotry may push you to defend them or to seek justification, exegesis or explanation, but all this will not avail you against Allah.
